Constitution Of India Is a "Ray Of Hope", Declares Narendra Modi In The Parliament

On the eve of First Constitution Day of India on November 26, prime minister Narendra Modi has
reportedly created quite a stir by referring the Constitution as a ray of hope. Indeed the said document is a ray of hope that also affirms the very essence of India culture, tradition and history. As said by the prime Minister, "Our Constitution is a ray of hope: H for harmony, O for opportunity, P for people's participation and E for equality."

In order to honour the 125th anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Prime Minister told reporters outside Parliament, that Parliament is organizing a special two-day session. He also added that the architect of India's Constitution should be given the honour he deserved.

In a series of tweets On the morning of November 26, Modi not only greeted India, but also paid homage to those including Ambedkar who have been an inseperable part of India and its Independence. Apart from paying tribute to Dr. Ambedkar for his stellar contribution, The Prime Minister has also declared this to be a national holiday in India that is to be observed henceforth. It will be observed as the Constitution Day. The constitution was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on this day in 1949 and came into force on January 26, 1950, which is observed as the Republic Day across the country.



On the eve of Constitution Day and the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed to all political parties to join in a meeting at the Parliament in order to uphold the spirit of "vaad, vivaad and samvaad (dialogue, debate, and discussion)". He has also added that these three aspects together compose the soul of Parliament. "I am confident that all the MPs will leave no stone unturned to match the expectations of people of nation," Mr. Narendra Modi has said firmly.

Another Googler is On-Board with Flipkart to Head the Consumer Experience

The Flipkart has seen staggering success since its birth. From being a books-only online portal, Flipkart has become a leading e-commerce portal with a plethora of items. Flipkart's impressive profile seems to attract the talented individuals, who was so far being involved with the leading tech whopper Google. This time, its Surojit Chatterjee, a senior executive of Google is on board with Flipkart to head its Consumer Experience. 
Lately, the leading Indian e-commerce player, is scooping too many top talents from well established firms, majorly from Silicon Valley. However, the addition of Surojit Chatterjee to the team is no less than a news. Surojit Chatterjee, the ex- Googler is appointed to strengthen the team of Flipkart and maintain its lead in the market. In this stint, he will be looking at enhancing the consumer experience of Flipkart, which in the long run will be beneficial to make profitable returns.

It's just a two days when Flipkart roped in the ex-CTO of Make My Trip, Sharat Singh and they have again hired Google executive Surojit Chatterjee, who has 33 US patents to his name. In Google also, Surojit Chatterjee was looking after the consumer experience across desktop and mobile. There he used to work as the global head of mobile search advertising and AdSense for search. No wonder, he is being instrumental behind such a huge acceptance of Google among the consumers. It's being expected that the experience of this senior official will surely have its positive effect on the enhanced user experience that Flipkart strives to deliver.

Presently, Flipkart boasts of top executives from companies like Amazon, Google and Microsoft (who are undoubtedly the tech giant in India and worldwide) in crucial positions of its team. Most of these executives are hired in this year. Sources reveal that 2015 was initially set as the landmark year and Flipkart has successfully reached its goal.

As of now, the team of Flipkart is mostly formed of the senior officials from Google. For example, Peeyush Ranjan, the head of the engineering team of Flipkart has joined in March. Puneet Soni from Google also joined as the Chief Product Officer in the same month. Also, in the following months, Flipkart was graced with the addition of Amazon’s Dan Rawson, to head the customer logistics and supply chain ecosystems. Just few days after Mr. Rawson joined, Flipkart found Google executive Ravi Byakod, who is appointed as the director of engineering – accounting. And then there are Microsoft’s Anand Lakshminarayanan, the head of product management for digital goods and services at Flipkart.

The increasing cut-throat competition in the business panorama, that Flipkart is all set to give to the tech giants is seemingly making quite a progress with best minds in its possession. According to the reports, Flipkart is literally ruling the e-commerce domain in India. As of now, Flipkart not only holds the largest market share in India( among the top three companies- Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal). With its recent expansion strategy (team and operations), it's expected that the company is going to join the bandwagon of the international e-commerce giants within a very short period of time.

As per the current reports, Flipkart has raised about $3.15 billion so far in 12 rounds from the investors and is planning for an IPO in the next few years.
